Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data we handle when you visit mmiri28.com or send us an idea, why we handle it, who receives it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. We wrote it to follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as applied in Austria, and Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).
In short
- No cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking on this website.
- We only collect what you send us in the idea form, through Sheff or by email, and use it to reply to you. Sheff also keeps questions it couldn't answer, without your name or contact details, so we can add better answers.
- Our website host, Netlify, processes technical data (such as your IP address) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
- You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted: support@mmiri28.com.

1. Who is responsible
The controller responsible for your personal data on this website is:
mmiri28, owned and managed by Charles Bernard Aghadi
Graz, Austria
Email: support@mmiri28.com
We have not appointed a data protection officer, as the law does not require one for an organisation of our size and activity. Please send any privacy question or request to the email address above.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the website mmiri28.com only. Each of our apps (GlowReserve, Voltwise, Business Hub and MeetBook Pro) runs on its own address and has its own purpose, so each describes its own handling of personal data:
- GlowReserve privacy policy
- Voltwise keeps your device list and settings only in your own browser and does not send them to us.
- Business Hub privacy policy
- MeetBook Pro privacy policy
When you click an app tile, you leave this website and that app's own terms and privacy policy apply.
3. When you visit the website
Each time you open a page, your browser sends technical information to our host, Netlify, so the page can be delivered. Netlify processes this in its server logs:
- your IP address,
- the date and time of the request,
- the page or file requested and whether it was delivered,
- your browser and operating system (as your browser reports them), and the page you came from.
Why: to deliver the website, keep it stable and protect it against misuse and attacks.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; section 25(1)(f) NDPA).
We do not use this data to identify you, and we do not combine it with other data. The fonts on this website are stored on mmiri28.com itself, so opening a page does not contact Google or any other font service.
4. When you send us an idea
The “Tell us your idea” form asks for:
- a short description of your idea,
- a budget range and currency,
- a phone number and/or an email address, so we can reply. At least one is required.
Please do not include sensitive information (for example about health, religion or finances) in your description. The form also contains a hidden field that only automated spam programs fill in; it holds no information about you.
Why: to read your idea, contact you about it and, if you wish, discuss working together.
Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before a possible agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; section 25(1)(b) NDPA), and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; section 25(1)(f) NDPA).
What happens to it: the form is processed by Netlify Forms, which stores the submission and sends it by email to our technical team (charles@mmiri28.com and chukwuka@mmiri28.com). We use your contact details only to reply about your idea. We do not add you to any mailing list.
Giving us your details is voluntary, but without a phone number or email we cannot reply to you.
5. When you use Sheff, our help guide
Sheff, our help assistant: if Sheff can't answer your question, we save the words you typed, without your name or contact details, so we can add better answers. Messages you send through Sheff's form go to support@mmiri28.com with the contact details you give. Both are stored with Netlify (USA, certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework); saved questions are deleted within three months. Please don't type personal details into Sheff.
- Questions Sheff couldn't answer: the text you typed and the app it was about. Before saving, Sheff removes anything that looks like an email address or a phone number. We read these questions once a week to write new answers.
- Messages you send through Sheff: the app, your name if you give it, your email and/or phone number (at least one), and your question.
Sheff's answers are written in advance by us. Sheff does not use artificial intelligence and does not send your questions to any other service. Questions you tap or that Sheff can answer are not saved.
Why: to answer your question and improve Sheff's answers.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in helping people use our apps and improving that help (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; section 25(1)(f) NDPA); for messages, also steps you ask us to take (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; section 25(1)(b) NDPA).
6. When you email us
If you write to support@mmiri28.com, charles@mmiri28.com, chukwuka@mmiri28.com or any other mmiri28.com address, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, the content of your message and any attachments.
Why: to answer you and handle your request.
Legal basis: as for the idea form (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR; section 25(1)(b) and (f) NDPA).
7. What stays on your device
This website sets no cookies. If you switch between the light and dark look, your choice is saved in your own browser (“local storage”) so the page remembers it next time. This setting never leaves your device and is not sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for mmiri28.com. Saving this setting is necessary for the feature you asked for (§ 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021), so we do not ask for separate consent.
8. Who receives your data
We share personal data only with the service providers we need to run this website and our email. They process it on our behalf and under a data processing agreement:
| Provider | What they do for us | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA | Hosts the website, keeps server logs, receives and stores idea-form and Sheff submissions and emails them to us | USA (see section 9) |
| Zoho (EU data centre, operated through Zoho's Netherlands entity) | Our email: receives, stores and sends messages to and from mmiri28.com addresses, including idea-form notifications | Stored in the EU |
Within mmiri28, only the people who need it to answer you can see your message. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We disclose data to authorities only where the law requires us to.
9. Transfers outside the EU and Nigeria
- Netlify (USA): Netlify, Inc. is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as giving an adequate level of protection (Art. 45 GDPR). Netlify also uses the European Commission's standard contractual clauses for transfers that need them. Idea-form and Sheff submissions are stored in the United States.
- Zoho: our mailboxes are stored in Zoho's EU data centre. Zoho says that in rare cases its support staff in India may access data to provide technical support, under standard contractual clauses.
- Our team: our team works between Austria and Nigeria. A team member may therefore read and answer your message from outside the EU, for example in Nigeria, or from inside Nigeria if you are writing from the EU. We do this only to handle the request you sent us (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR; section 43 NDPA), and we keep it to what that requires.
10. How long we keep data
- Idea-form submissions and related emails: for as long as they are useful for following up on your idea or a possible collaboration with you. We do not set a fixed deletion date, but we review what we hold from time to time and delete what is no longer needed. If the idea leads to an agreement, we keep what the agreement and its invoices require, for at least as long as Austrian tax and commercial law obliges us (generally seven years).
- Other emails: for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, reviewed and deleted in the same way, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
- Questions Sheff couldn't answer: deleted within three months.
- Messages sent through Sheff: kept like other emails (above).
- Server logs: kept by Netlify for a limited period under its own retention rules, for security and operation.
- Theme setting: stays in your browser until you clear it.
You can ask us to delete your idea and contact details sooner at any time.
11. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the NDPA you have the right to:
- access: know whether we hold data about you and receive a copy;
- correction: have wrong or incomplete data corrected;
- deletion: have your data deleted where there is no reason for us to keep it;
- restriction: ask us to limit how we use your data, for example while a dispute is settled;
- portability: receive the data you gave us in a common, machine-readable format;
- objection: object, for reasons relating to your situation, to processing based on our legitimate interests. We then stop unless we have compelling reasons to continue;
- withdraw consent: where we rely on your consent, withdraw it at any time, without affecting what was done before.
To use any of these rights, email support@mmiri28.com. We reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on a request, to protect your data from others. Using your rights is free of charge.
We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone, and we do not create profiles.
12. Complaints
If you think we have handled your data wrongly, please tell us first at support@mmiri28.com, so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority:
- Austria: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde (Austrian Data Protection Authority), Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at
- Nigeria: Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), Abuja, ndpc.gov.ng
- If you live in another EU country, you can also contact the authority where you live or work.
13. Security
The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to our hosting account and mailboxes is limited to our team and protected by passwords kept only by the people who need them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and will inform you and the authorities as the law requires if a breach puts your data at risk.
14. Children
This website and the idea form are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
15. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the website or the law changes, for example when we add a new feature. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change significantly affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you directly where we can.
